PL/SQL Developer - The Query Builder

The Query Builder can be used from within any editor to create or modify select statements. Simply drag tables and views from the Object Browser on the left, and drop them into the work area on the right. If foreign key constraints exist between the tables, you are automatically asked if they should be used for join conditions.

The columns can be selected for the field list, where clause and order by clause in the bottom section of the Query Builder.

For a select ... into statement, you can select PL/SQL variables from the context of the PL/SQL Editor that started the Query Builder. All global and local variables from the PL/SQL program unit can simply be selected from a list.

Various preferences affect the layout of the generated select statement, such as alignment, margin, case, and so on.
